Applying for a job these days is quite competitive. If your résumé isn’t up to today’s standards then don’t expect a phone call to book an interview. Most people don’t understand the importance of writing a correct and visually appealing résumé using very little white space. What is “white space”? White space is the space on your document that has no text. Why is it important to have little white space? Because it won’t pass a scan in the résumé review process. Often résumés are put through a scanner. Does your resume have what it takes to pass the scan test?
Companies don’t just sift through résumés, they actually read about each interested candidate once it has passed the scanning process. It could prove to be the difference between the right and wrong career choice!
