The Highlands Nordic family run facility is located a mere 12 kilometres South of Collingwood on the Niagara Escarpment hosting amazing views of Georgian Bay and pristine nature where you can “Embrace the beauty that surrounds you.”
At Highland, there’s 25km of ski trails and 7km for snowshoeing which are also perfect for running, biking, hiking, and single track trails for racing. You can even bring along your toboggans! And on either March 12th or Friday, March 16th, drop in for the Maple Syrup Tour to tap a tree, rent some snowshoes and see firsthand how the syrup is made.
The accompanying 8000 square foot lodge is complete with cafeteria, meeting rooms, pro-shop, rentals, a conference room, wireless internet and more. Inside the Pro Shop, with knowledgeable staff who’ll guide you through the varied ski gear available, you’ll also discover a great selection of clothing, wax and a plethora of ski equipment and accessories.
